GENEVA (AFP) ā€“ Zimbabwe’s cholera epidemic has killed more than 2,000 people since August with the number of diagnosed cases reaching almost 40,000, the WHO said Tuesday, warning the health crisis is “not under control”.Fresh data released by the World Health Organization shows that 117 more deaths have been recorded compared to a day ago, bringing the total number to 2,024, while new cases of cholera grew by 1,472 to 39,806.”The epidemic is still not under control,” WHO spokesman Paul Garwood told AFP.
