Next Exams: IB HL1 and SL1

UPDATE (18 October): given your extensive writing on some of these subjects, I see no reason to have you reiterate this information again on the exam. Consequently, please focus on the remaining IB content standards as you prepare for our next exam. /CG

All, just to confirm, here’s the schedule & list of topics for Exam #2 in each class.

HL1: 29 October 2009
50-minute exam, taken in the Lecture Hall, The exam will consist of two questions on the following topics: establishment of Israel; Arab response and 1948/49 war; demographic shifts: the Palestinian diaspora 1947 onwards; Jewish immigration and the economic development of the Israeli state; Suez Crisis of 1956: role of Britain, France, the United States, the USSR, Israel and the UNO; Arabism and Zionism; emergence of the PLO; Six Day War of 1967: causes, course and consequences

SL1: 3 (A Period) and 4 (D Period) November 2009
